Residencial Prado Homes is an innovative proposal that brings together different ways of living, different scales of intervention, sports uses and green spaces, grouping them in an orderly fashion through bioclimatic habitability criteria.
The initial objective of the project is to achieve a building complex with the maximum fractionation of the volumetry that does not generate extensive continuous fronts. This compositional difference is accentuated by the composition of the façade openings, horizontal in the plinth with a series of boxes that frame the openings according to the composition of the elevations, giving vibration to the façade and unframed vertical openings in the articulation of the volumes.
The dwellings are located on the perimeter of the plot, with their own private plot, leaving the interior space common to the location of the garden areas and communal pool and to ensure the sealing of the common areas inside the plot and the surrounding areas it serves, enclosing the interior private garden space, embracing it and protecting it from the cold winds of the Madrid mountain range. In this way, all of the rooms are guaranteed a double orientation to the daytime sun and increased ventilation in search of the best energy efficiency.
The development has a total of 70 townhouses (46 units with 4 bedrooms) and semi-detached (24 units with 5 bedrooms).
