The design of the building is based on a mesh or energetic matrix configured from the solar trajectory, the urban geometry and the orientation of the prevailing winds of the area favoring the permeability of the building to the wind.
Among the innovative bioclimatic solutions provided by the project is the Bioperfectible Skin, an industrialized and evolutionary envelope, which allows the façade and roof of the building to behave like the skin of a living being, reacting according to the external climatic conditions and integrating all the radiation capture and dissipation systems, taking advantage of or protecting itself from this to achieve a high interior wellbeing. This panel has solar thermal collectors and photovoltaic panels.
Los primeros cálculos realizados indican que el edificio se autoabastece en un 75% de su consumo energético con fuentes de energía renovable, lo que lo sitúa entre uno de los proyectos de arquitectura bioclimática más avanzados de Europa.
